MCDONALD’S SUMMER SURPRISES
As part of their “Summer Surprises” campaign, McDonald’s asked us to create the world’s first McDonald’s Restaurant made out of sand, ever.
So we did! In the hottest week that The Netherlands has ever known in history (41 degrees Celsius!), our team of five professional sand sculptors from various countries created this huge sand sculpture, depicting a large McDonald’s restaurant, together with a large octopus that was in love with all the delicious food. An extremely successfull guerilla marketing stunt on the popular beach of Kijkduin, which surprised many thousands of people over a period of 3 weeks. We worked together with some amazing people at “TBWA/NEBOKO” and “Brndrz!” to make it all happen. THANKS a million guys!
